Goodreads has this fun little challenge where you set your own reading goals for 2012. I'm a highly ambitious person so at first I signed on for 365 books this year. I am a crazy person. Really who has time or energy to read a book a day? Don't get me wrong, I love to read it's my 'thing' if you will but hot damn I would have to be a hermit, devoid of social life and/or responsibility. As much as I would like to be a spinstery recluse I have a novel to write and school to attend. Anyways back to my spiel, I was insane and therefore changed my goal to 265. I'm terrible at math but I'm guessing that's like one and a half every other day...ish. At this point and time I've read 110 books since Jan, I'm so not going to reach my goal, especially with school in the fall. I've decided to take my love of fiction and avid reading skills to write reviews on what I read. I just got an advance copy of Kresley Cole's new venture into YA fiction Poison Princess and I'm dying to read it!
Here's what's coming up:
1. Poison Princess- Kresley Cole
2. Once- Anna Carey
3. A Midsummer Tights Dream- Louise Rennison
4. Girl in the Steel Corset- Kady Cross
5. Firelight- Sophie Jordan
